What this trade actually requires
Pesticide residue, aflatoxin and microbiological limits are where spice consignments fail. Testing at an accredited laboratory before shipment is the control that matters.
Required per consignment for plant products, alongside any treatment certification.
Retail packs need compliant Russian labelling; bulk needs correct marking and moisture-safe packaging for the transit route and season.
Serious spice importers test for residues and contaminants when the container lands. That is a good sign, not a bad one — but it means your pre-shipment testing has to be capable of surviving theirs.
