India Russia Trading
About the firm

Two principals. One in each country.

Almost every firm in this corridor is one-sided: an Indian consultant with a Russian “network”, or a Russian firm with an Indian contact. We are two principals, resident in the two countries, who between us can stand in front of any counterparty in this trade.

Three commitments we do not bend on

01 — Present on both ends

A principal in India and a principal in Russia. Every counterparty we put in front of you has been visited by one of us, in person. We do not forward introductions we have not checked, and we do not sell you a list.

02 — One client per transaction

We act for one side of a trade and we say which side in writing. We never take a fee from both. Your interests are the ones we are protecting — on price, on quality, on terms.

03 — Priced before we begin

Fixed fees, quoted and agreed before work starts. You know what a certification or a supplier search costs up front, and we are not paid out of a margin you cannot see.

How we deliver a catalogue this wide

We orchestrate rather than execute. A vetted panel of certification consultants, customs brokers, freight forwarders, translators, accountants and lawyers in both countries does the specialist work under our management.

You deal with one firm, in your own language, on one invoice, with one person accountable. We test every vendor on our own work before a client’s name goes near them, and when something goes wrong it is our problem to fix, not the vendor’s to explain.

What we are actually selling is accountability across a border. The specialists cannot offer that, because each of them only sees their own step.

How we are paid

Type of workHow it is pricedWhen
Compliance and documentationFixed fee per filing, quoted before we startUp front
ExhibitionsFee per client, per showUp front
Counterparty search and intelligenceFixed fee by depth — never commission-onlyUp front
Standing appointmentMonthly retainer, plus a percentage of order value only where we are the appointed agent running inspectionMonthly
We do not work on introduction commission. A fee that depends on two parties who have just met each other closing a deal is not a service — it pushes the intermediary toward deals that should not happen, and it is unenforceable across these two jurisdictions anyway.

Tell us what you are trying to move.

A short call is usually enough to tell you whether it is straightforward, difficult, or not worth attempting. We will say which.
