Pre-shipment inspection before payment is released
The last point at which a problem is cheap. We inspect against the agreed specification while the goods are still in the seller’s country and the money has not moved.
What it covers
Inspection against written specification
Not a general impression. Against the specification, tolerances and reference samples agreed in the contract, which is why we prefer to be involved when those are drafted.
Sampling and testing
Drawn samples and accredited laboratory testing where the product requires it — residue, microbiological, chemical or mechanical.
Quantity and packing verification
Count, weight or measurement, plus packing suitable for the route and season.
Photographic report
A documented record, issued to both parties, that can support a payment release or a claim.

Common questions
+–Why does inspection matter so much in this corridor?
Because remedies weaken sharply once goods have shipped, and weaken again once they have arrived in another jurisdiction. Inspection before dispatch is the last cheap intervention.
+–Will you skip inspection if the client is in a hurry?
No. Inspection is the reason a buying agent is worth appointing, and dropping it removes the protection the arrangement exists to provide.
+–Can inspection support a payment structure?
Yes — a documented inspection is what an escrow or staged payment can be released against, which protects both sides at once.
